About

Freelance

With over seven years professional experience in film making, I have worked on a plethora of projects including: television, music videos, films, adverts/commercials, events, corporate video & more.

I own and operate a RED Epic Dragon 6k, however I often work with many other cameras such as: Arri Alexa Mini, Sony FS7, Blackmagic Design Ursa Mini and more. I also have allot of experience using follow focus’, wireless transmitters, Steadicams, jibs, sliders, dollies and a huge range of lenses including anamorphic.

My rates vary depending on the project and my responsibilities, as well as how much of my kit is used. Please don’t hesitate to get in contact to discuss your project.

July 2017 - July 2018

Skeleton Productions

Role: Cinematographer & Editor.

Responsibilities: Filming, lighting, sound recording, editing, shot listing & shoot planning.

During my time at Skeleton, I worked on countless projects for world famous brands such as Experian, Boots & Box. The work predominantly consisted of case study videos, culture films, web ads & corporate video. I filmed most projects on the Sony FS7ii & would occasionally hire in the latest RED of the time. The crews ranged from myself and a single producer to over 10 people.

Skeleton qualified me to fly a Drone, I therefore have plenty of experience with the DJI Inspire 2. I also regularly shot b-roll with the DJI Ronin & wireless follow focus.

October 2013 - July 2017

Applejack Creative

Role: Head of Video Production

Responsibilities: Filming, editing, color correction & Planning

The majority of my time at Applejack Creative was spent filming and editing LED screen content for live audience shows. I filmed allot of green screen content which I would often be editing. Over the three years I was able to really master both the chroma key production process and post production process, and gain great results.

Because of the nature of live event screen content, I also picked up allot of After Effect experience producing 3D text, chroma keying, compositing and basic animation.

January 2015 - January 2017

Notts TV (Channel 8)

Role: Studio Camera Operator

Responsibilities: Recording of ‘as live’ talk shows & news.

I was part of the floor camera team for ‘as live’ talk shows and news programming. Whilst at Notts TV I worked with over ten director/vision mixers, always having to preempt their individual styles whilst keeping the consistent feel of the show in tact.

I worked on three different camera setups: dolly camera, presenter camera & PTZ robotic cameras.
